Adolf Hitler (April 20th, 1889 - April 30th, 1945) was the leader of the Nazi Party and Chancellor of Germany from 1933 until 1945.

He is most notable in South Park for being among the idols of Eric Cartman beginning in the episode "Pinkeye".

Appearances

During "Weight Gain 4000" Cartman gloats about being famous with Wendy quipping "Hitler was famous, too!", just a few episodes later in "Pinkeye", Cartman dresses as Hitler for Halloween, with a costume made by his mother. He wasn't aware of Hitler's real self until Principal Victoria showed him a video of Hitler, during which he begins emulating his speech patterns, beginning his idolization that later became a focal point of his characterization in later seasons.

He next appeared as a resident of Hell in "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut", harassing Kenny McCormick upon his entrance. He appears similarly in "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics", sadly singing "O Tannenbaum" and lamenting his love of Christmas, resulting in Satan throwing a Christmas party in Hell and giving Hitler a Christmas tree of his own. In the episode, "Asspen", Cartman gives Butters a "Hitler", which involved Cartman sticking his finger up his own butt and wiping it on Butters' upper lip while he slept, giving him the appearance of a Hitler mustache.

Cartman dressed as Hitler once again in the episode, "The Passion of the Jew" as he ran an anti-Jewish rally after seeing one of Mel Gibson's films, and Gibson becomes Cartman's new idol. Cartman later asks Clyde if he would go back in time and kill Hitler in the episode, "Make Love, Not Warcraft", but mentions he would not because he idolizes Hitler.

Hitler, with a regular appearance rather than a photograph, briefly appears dressed as the "Can You Hear Me Now?" Verizon spokesperson at Satan's party in the episode, "Hell on Earth 2006".

Trivia

  • During older episodes he was usually depicted with a real picture of him pasted on a body but later changed to a original looking South Park character in "Hell on Earth 2006". In "Pinkeye", however, the video shown to Cartman portrays him with a circular animated head as opposed to a photograph.
  • His mother, depicted in "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics" bares a startling resemblance to Sarah Valmer.
