He is first added to the background characters in "Breast Cancer Show Ever", along with several other 6th graders, where is seen watching Cartman fight Wendy with the rest of the school. After this episode, he begin to be commonly used as a prop in the assembly, cafeteria and playground scenes.
The character made his first notable appearance in "The Pandemic Special", where he is seen next to Red McArthur, talking to his parents on call.
