背景

毎年恒例のサンダンス映画祭がサウスパーク町で開催されることとなり、町民たちは観光客がおし寄せる映画祭を大いに待ちわびる。
　映画祭当日、シェフは自慢の品である「シェフの塩味チョコレートボール」や「チョコっとしゃぶって（Go Fudge Yourself）」クッキー、自然食品「深くくわえて飲んでチョコ（I Don't Really Give A Flying Fudge）」などで観光客や映画祭参加者らの関心を集めようとする。

当エピソードで披露されたよりもさらに拡張された楽曲が、アルバムChef Aid: The South Park Albumに収録される。

グレートブリテン及び北アイルランド連合王国で行われる全英シングルチャート（クリスマス版の2位楽曲ランキング）では1998年に、シングルチャートは1999年にて1位に選出される。

• 商品名に「塩味」とあるが、材料に塩は使われていない。
• 著名な動画チャンネルBabish Culinary Universeの料理コーナー"Binging With Babish"で実際にシェフの塩味チョコレートボールが作られたが、完成品の見た目はチョコレートボールというよりクッキーであった。
