i think it's fairly well implied that he's supposed to be fresh out of college, with the idea being that 'pc' is his college fraternity. so i imagine him more in his mid-20s.
there appears to be an edit war there right now. give @Jacques1194 a chance to ban the vandalizers, then someone will revert it.
i'll add these:
luigi mangione
de-extinction
pickle ball
severance
katy perry
gaza
9 has always been my favorite season, but overall, 5-8 is peak golden age.
@.JUNk0.2009 lucky guess.
@Jacques1194 i suspect all these folks are from the total drama wiki. i know of @Just a normal Mike Stan from the fan creations wiki, and nothing like that came up there.
people keep saying this, and i'm sure its way worse on the sites that i don't frequent as much, but is it really any different than other fandoms? everyone here and on the fan creations wiki is fine. i think if you go into more shipping or roleplay oriented communities, you'll run into a lot more unsavory types, but again, i think that's more on fandom culture than sp fandom culture.
@PoocheeAndPansyFan great! i remember the awesome kyle and kenny you posted, so i'm well aware you're a good artist. i just wanted to make sure it was your own work this time, and i'm glad to know it is.
i don't want to do any directing here on the creative front, but i suspect that getting the name accurate will be a prerequisite of it getting accepted as the new logo. the poll doesn't officially end until the 18th, and i don't know how soon after that the name change will actually go into effect, so you have plenty of time.
probably because the ages just aren't mentioned that much. like is there any confirmation from the later seasons that ike is still 3? or is he just assumed to be 3 because he's never confirmed to be 4?
@TweekTucker35 i've enoyed specials a lot (more than the recent seasons if i'm being honest), but the whole confusing mess of where to watch is definitely something i hope is ending.
@PoocheeAndPansyFan so, when you said you wanted to design the logo, i assumed you meant you wanted to create original art for it, so i was a bit bewildered to see the archivist's logo with "library" lazily slapped over it. the new version is an improvement, though i don't know anymore that i can trust that that isn't just another template that you added "library" to, (which by the way, the name that was voted on was "South Park Public Library". i don't think you were trying to litigate that, but that extra word in there might be important to some people, though maybe just the initials could work on the logo if the whole thing is too long).
but look, as long as the original artist gives us permission to use it, and you're transparent about where its coming from, and it isn't literally already being used as the logo of another site, something like this can still work. and btw, even if it's not a whole pre-made logo template, any fanmade assets that you use also need to have the original artist's permission, or else the logo will get taken down as soon as it goes up.
as long as you understand all the above, i would encourage you to continue, and don't be afraid to get more creative and try to have some fun with it.
part of the goal here is to distinguish ourselves from the other south park wikis that exist. and we should not just copy and paste other people's logos in general.
you seemed pretty excited to be the one to make the logo, and i'll be plenty excited if you give us something original, but right now, this aint it.
@Littlebloom 10/10. i feel bad for cartman, imagining what kyle has in store for him.
it seems like the lawsuit issues might put the paramount specials into question, but even they can't air them on paramount, they still might like the format and do more normal specials wherever they end up airing the seasons.

so right off the bat, it's super unusual to get a whole trailer full of clips for a season of the show. i don't think they've ever done that before actually. this instead seems more like what they'd do for a paramount special. my guess is they were working on this as a special, but then were told to turn it into a season, likely for lawsuit related reasons.
if that's the case then we'll probably either get a big 2 or 3 parter at the beginning, or it will actually be stretched out across the whole season like they did with season 20. that makes me a bit nervous as season 20 is not one of my favorites, but if they have a plan and actually stick to it this time, it ought to be really good.
as for what it'll be about, i actually think it's pretty likely that all the scenes we got from the trailer all derive from satire about the white house administration in one way or another. the randy stuff and air traffic control stuff ties into a doge/musk storyline, and i could also see the fire being part of that. the canada stuff is obviously related to the tariffs, and the moses scene might be about israel and gaza. and everyone basically agrees already that kyle has the south park version of bird flu, and i imagine that might tie back to something rfk related, or maybe randy will just try forcing him to take ketamine.
even the p. diddy stuff i expect to actually be about either pardoning criminals, or sending them to another country (planet in this case). diddy might be alone, or he might be there with several other convicts. basically, i imagine him only being there as a prop, while the story is about something else.
starvin' marvin is the thing i'm easily the most excited about, as his episodes are among my favorites from the early seasons, and its also been a while since we got a space episode. i predict the boys will get deported somehow, and that's how they end up on marklar, then marvin will have to help them get home, while they help him deal with all the other people (like p. diddy) that the us deported to his planet.
@Dogloveheart2342 i think that's a pretty common age that people start watching at. for me it was 13, but i had been watching adult swim shows since i was ~10 because my parents were very lax about that type of thing.
the rating is really just there to give a quick warning about what's in the show. the agency that puts that there has no actual authority to tell anyone what they can and can't watch. that's the job of parents.
south park is tv-ma (18+) for good reason. but lots of younger folks watch it anyway, and that's fine as long as they know it is not a kid's show, and as long as their parents know they're watching it.
@ObakeidoroGuy yes, that would make A LOT of sense. unfortunately, i'm not so sure 'sense' is something reality likes to make a lot of.
