It was good, but in my opinion, I don’t think it topped The Pandemic Special. The Qanon plot was kinda dragged, and Bob White has always annoyed me so that speaks for itself, along with the boys trying to get the vaccinations for their teachers.
Speaking of the teachers - MR. GARRISON IS BACK. I honestly couldn’t express how happy I was, along with Mr. Hat making an appearance for the first time in a great while. Even though I never was really a fan of Mr. Garrison’s character, it was good to see him back in the classroom rather in office.
But, there were some disappointments. The boys. That honestly made me so sad how they admitted they were growing apart and couldn’t trust one another, and only wanted to stay together for Kenny’s sake. But, it’s not like that was ever cleared up, because at the end they were still following the 2-2-3 chart Cartman made, so I honestly don’t know where that leaves their friendship. Also, at times I got kinda bored, and just wanted to skip past all the Qanon plots or other random scenes.
But, there was about the same amount of good that came out of it. RANDY MADE A SMALL APPEARANCE, AND DIDN’T MAKE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM!!! I guess I’m probably trying to get used to episodes revolving around the boys again, considering I basically started watching the show with Tegridy Farms already being a major plot. Anyways, Randy wasn’t totally obnoxious, Garrisons back, and the end - WHAT A WAY TO END A SPECIAL. I think Ms. Nelson’s funeral scene is underrated because I just love the fact that they had a whole dance scene bringing back characters from early seasons, and even some old background characters into the light! Even though the dance scene isn’t quite what I expected for the death of Ms. Nelson, it still was very entertaining.
Well, that was my thoughts and review. I honestly hope for better episodes/specials, but I’m giving this special a solid 7/10.
