I already posted my thoughts on this in another thread that was created on here, but wanted to publicly make my views known by posting them on here as well. Here’s my take on the vaccination special that is airing tonight. Based upon the synopsis that was provided on the episode, I am assuming that there is going to be a conspiracy stating that the reasoning behind Garrison’s becoming Trump was due to a viral infection that can only be cured with the new vaccine. Seeing as the boys are tired of social distancing and are ready for their lives to get back to normal, they are desperately trying to get rid of Yates and find a way to get Garrison vaccinated so that he will revert back to his normal self and become the 4th grade teacher again.
The “hilarious militant group” will most likely consist of a bunch of impressionable kids, namely Butters and Scott Malkinson, who tend to be more gullible and were brainwashed by an unknown source to believe in QAnon. Red will reveal herself to be a perky goth girl type who is surprisingly very much into these types of conspiracies, leading to her easily buying into it and joining Butters and Scott in their protest. The episode will revolve mostly around the main 4 boys trying to steal the vaccines away from the elderly, who have quicker access to them due to their age demographic, and creating a mock clinic to try to lure Garrison into getting vaccinated at the school and return back into his former self.
I suspect that some of the girls, such as Bebe and Wendy, will also offer the boys support in their schemes and try to help them. It is going to be revealed by the end of the episode however that Garrison/ Trump and all the QAnon supporters are infected by a new strain of the virus that can only be cured with the new vaccines, leading to Butters, Scott, Red, Mr. Garrison, and several others to be injected with it so that they will get back in touch with reality, with the gnomes disappearing in the process. The vaccination special with likely conclude with Garrison’s being vaccinated and briskly transforming back into his original self, with the ending scene showing him throwing some witty line signifiying his return back to South Park Elementary.
I am 99 percent certain this is what is going to happen. Based on the promos, it is also likely that Stephen is going to take Randy’s role as the most prominent adult in this special by repeatedly showing himself to be paranoid over the spread of COVID and obsessing over getting the new vaccine for himself and his family.
