The Pandemic Special

So i was watching Pandemic Special again and i heard Stan's speech about the pandemic and when he mentions "I want my life back" this made me think and till i got it i think his normal life was spending at his old home Spending Time with his Friends also He miss spending time with Wendy and he probably wants to go back to the normal he was used to what do you think guys? what's your thoughts on my theory

Unfortunately, I didn't see Heidi once in the "South ParQ Vaccination Special". This is disappointing to me, mainly because of her multiple background appearances in "The Pandemic Special". I think I'll make a post about the special in a few days to try avoiding spoiling anything for anyone on here!

Today, I noticed something. On September 15th, 2020, South Park Studios' Official YouTube Channel uploaded the trailer for "The Pandemic Special". That was about two weeks before the episode aired, on a Tuesday. I found it interesting that there was no clip uploaded yesterday because there has been a video/clip uploaded almost every weekday since the summer. I don't think it's a holiday where South Park Studios is, so I don't see why they skipped it.

Hopefully, this will mean there's going to be another special soon! But what are your thoughts on this? Please tell me in the comments!

So SP-Studio avatar creator has a contest for representing the year 2020. What an insanely crazy year! Here's my submission (which I already submitted on the site). The character represents COVID-19 itself and there's a subtle reference to "The Pandemic Special".

Description: The character represents COVID-19, which has dominated 2020 and has been a game-changer for the world. A mysterious virus, it is contagious, soulless and unforgiving. It spreads over the city like fog which also represents plunging into the unknown. The alien is a symbol for the unknown; the bat is a nod to "The Pandemic Special". So much chaos has happened in 2020 including BLM (in the river). The earth in the center represents how COVID-19 affects the whole world, but is also a symbol of hope for people to come together and help each other, and to rethink the damage we are doing to our planet.

I am making this post today because I feel frustrated. I understand that we are in a pandemic now and creating new episodes might not be very easy, but it's been three months since "The Pandemic Special" aired and we haven't heard anything about new episodes. Sure, there was an official tweet mentioning "more South Park coming soon" near the end of October, but nothing came of it. To put this into perspective, all of the seasons in the last ten years would have ended by now. I'm just have a difficult time believing that something is actually being made after such a long time. Nothing but silence on new episodes since that one tweet.

You know, it just sucks that the one year I really get into South Park is the year everything has to be delayed and screwed up. I wanted to watch Season 24 like every other season before it, as it was new, but that only happened once so far. It really is a bummer.

Hey, i have some devastating news, this year, on November 26th, Brain cancer patient Pandemic Special guest star and great friend of Matt Stone and Trey Parker Josef "Sef" Furman has passed away at the age of 18. He guest starred on The Pandemic Special and became friends with the creators ever since, he was a creative person and might have been a very nice guy. My heart goes out to his family and friends, Sleep well, Josef

Today, I'm making this post because I noticed something while I was re-watching the earlier seasons.

In those older episodes, everyone talked with each other. That's just how it was, social interaction everywhere in South Park. The boys were closest then, the only form of social media was their computers, but even then they didn't use them very often. I think the reason why the older seasons may be more entertaining to watch is the fact that they are kids just being kids, nothing really distracted them from going out and living. The only electronic devices they used were their their phones, video game consoles, or TV. They were always outside playing or spending time with their close friends.

Fast-forward a few years, now everyone is using smart phones and the boys have been slowly drifting apart. I think "Buddha Box" really did a nice job touching on this, because people ignore pretty much everyone around them when they are on their phones. Cutting themselves off from everyone else, sometimes resulting in lame episodes. Don't get me wrong, "Skank Hunt" was an interesting episode because it showed the negative side of social media and the affect it can have on people.

Now future generations won't have much experience with social interactions, and I realized that the second part applies to me. I'll never know what it was like to be an eight year old in the year 1997 and that's another reason why I like to watch South Park. It's kind of history because Matt and Trey constantly referenced events and shows from the time they were making the episodes (and it's still going on right now, especially with "The Pandemic Special".

Just my thoughts. How has this made you feel?

This is going to have a spoiler for the special, so I’m going to add this below.

As you know, the end of the Pandemic Special, Cartman actually supposedly performs the (genuine shocker) act of not being incredibly selfish and burning the pangolin. However, this may be less sacrificial on his part than I previously thought. See, even without the cure, Cartman would still have to go to school as we saw. In truth, burning the pangolin would’ve likely only delayed further research on the cure. Whether or not the pangolin is burned doesn’t really affect HIS outcome. My theory is that instead of trying to sympathize with Stan, Cartman realized this and decided to just give the pangolin.

I’ve had this theory for a long time, but I spent a lot of time self-checking my facts. Tell me what you think my idea below and whether there are problems with it.

Ok so some of u may not be may not be with me about dis review but dis is only my opinion.

I Think the pandemic special is A Masterpeice. Even if it had some issues still liked it so I’d give 4 stars to dis but...WHY DID THEY PUT SUCH AN AWKWARD SEX SCENE? Man I got rlly surprised bout dat but everything else is ok for me. The pandemic special is great but it isn’t like the show style so yeah. But still ITS GREAT
