I was thinking about whether Towelie could leave Tegridy Farms since Randy’s getting greedier with the money and the profits, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Randy starts treating Towelie like crap. So if Towelie quits, what do you guys think will happen to him, or how would the arc look like?
In my case I was thinking that he would turn on Randy and his business, and sue him.
Tegridy Farms is the fourth episode of the 22nd season. It all starts when Butters starts to sell fruity-flavored vapes to the Kindergarteners. This angers Randy, and he starts his own Hemp business. After this episode aired, Matt and Trey created a bunch of episodes and specials to continue the saga.
This also used the now creator-favorite character, Randy. Now, how has this saga affected the South Park community? Is it well-liked? Has it caused people to stop watching the show? Well, let's discuss it.
What Is Tegridy Farms?
Tegridy Farms is a weed business owned by Randy Marsh, it makes its first appearance in the 22nd season, and has since skyrocketed into its own saga. In a couple of episodes, it is seen that the marsh family heavily dislikes the business, as Sharon is seen scolding Randy, and Shelly ruining multiple specials.
How has Tegridy Farms affected the show?
Tegridy Farms has affected the show in multiple ways, it has affected it in both good and bad ways. Let's start with the good ways.
It has increased merch sales, with the official Tegridy Farms T-Shirts, bags, and jars.
It has brought back some fan favorites, such a Towelie. It has also brought more attention to the Marsh family.
It appeals more to adults who can relate to Randy
Tegridy Farms has also brought back the beloved Holiday special episodes. There are two Christmas Episodes and one Halloween episode. The last actual Halloween episode was The Scoots, which aired in 2018. And the last Christmas episode was #HappyHolograms, which aired in 2014.
How has it affected the show badly?
The main argument about Tegridy farms is that it brings less attention to the kids, and more to Randy when the show was mostly about the boys. Another point is that they're over-using the character Towelie, by making too much merch out of him, even though Towelie was made to make fun of characters who were specifically made to make merch.
People also complain that it's mostly just about Randy's weed business, more than about the wacky mountain town of South Park. There are a few people saying there should be a spinoff of Tegridy Farms, and make that about the business.
What does the Fanbase think of Tegridy Farms?
From what I can see, it is taken mostly negatively by the fanbase. Most people think it is taking over the show, and Matt and trey will soon make it just about Randy's business rather than the four boys and their wacky adventures.

Personally, I'm not too fond of it. I think the show should focus more on the kids, and have some adults for comedic relief.

Personally, my god didn't we need that as a society. This was what I think we all needed despite some moron "journalists" online saying "We don't need to hear from South Park right now". This is one time where I enjoyed the Tegridy Farms plot in a long time (With Mickey Mouse AND Randy spanking off to give everybody a mustache I mean how more absurd could it get lmao) I thought it was funny overall and I was actually interested in it and didn't want to turn the TV off. The kids' plot was even better. South Park tackled fucking everything in this. From the BLM and George Floyd protests to COVID (Duh) and the upcoming election. The most intriguing part for me was when they took Butters to Build A Bear because idk if it's just me but I wouldn't want to ever go there lol. The lockdown at school I found really funny as it tormented poor Cartman who didn't want to go back to "skewl". Oh and the cops in the OP tank I mean c'mon. All and all this was a 10/10 AWESOME Episode!

I used to love randy because his humor was so dry and dumb. but now i'm SO sick of him, and it really sucks because i WANT to like him again, but i really don't want to see him and tegridy farms for a WHOLE season again. i wish he didn't turn the show in a weird direction.

I’ve noticed that some fans are getting tired of the whole Tegridy plot.
The Tegridy farms storyline used to be hilarious in Season 22, but i think it should end now before it become annoying and unfunny.
I mean, South Park is a adult cartoon that satirizes ANYTHING and is kinda sad to see that the creators are missing many opportunities of making new storylines such for example: satirizing Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of USA after they allowed girls in their program and more episodes unrelated to satire.
But nope, what we get instead is more Tegridy farms.
I still believe that Tegridy Farms will end in this Season, but we need to wait if Trey and Matt will really put a end on this plot in Season 23.
