Summer Sucks.
Why this episode, you may ask? Well, this episode is very relevant nowadays. I wish it would air on Comedy Central more often. It's about "some twerp" blowing his hands off with fireworks and the town banning fireworks because of it. This episode may be an allegory for gun control, but that's not why I like the episode. I like this episode because it makes fun of news sources sparking fear about things that barely ever happen, saying that it might (sometimes even WILL) happen to you in certain situations. For example, you know those stories about people dying in "hot cars" that have been popping up every summer? They really get on my nerves, because only 50 people die from them a year, and the country freaks out about them as if they're some sort of big deal. More people die from being struck by lightning a year, for crying out loud! And somehow hot cars are banned, but cigarettes aren't. This episode may not be that well written, but its message is certainly an underused one.
