In this post I will be comparing Matt and Trey to Seth McFarlane , both parties have mainstream cartoons and both parties voice the majority of the male characters :-
Seth McFarlane does most of the male voices on Family Guy . A lot of them are very distinct - Sheamus , Glenn Quagmire , Peter , Stewie and Brian Griffin sound absolutely nothing like one another . Seth also initially voiced Tim the Hungarian Bear on Cleveland Show , another completely unique voice . His God , Dr. Hartman and Carter Pewterschmidt voice however is exactly the same , should he have not assigned actual voice actors for them when he was realizing that he ran out of unique voices to do ?
The same goes to Matt and Trey , the 2 of them combined to make over a dozen unique voices but it is their insistence on playing every single background character that drives me insane . It's not even politically correct .
Every so often you get the adult who sounds just like Randy or Gerald and every so often you get the kid who sounds just like Stan or Kyle . It makes my skin crawl . As versatile of a voice actor you are , please understand your limits and don't make your own shows insufferable .
Then there is Matt and Trey portraying Italian , Negro , Mexican , Japanese and Chinese characters - that is *Absolutely Wrong* . They're not as morally decent and politically correct as they think they are .
As bad as Seth is , he *only* voices White people , also Seth is not insistent on voicing every damn backgroud character .
