I promise this one contains no shipping.
This movie will actually see the main boys barely interact for the first two thirds of it. This is because the 2-2-3 Kenny format would be in full swing, and in addition to that, Stan and Kyle made their new groups of bros:
Stan’s group: Stan, Bradley, Scott, Craig
Kyle’s group: Kyle, Tweek, Token, Kevin Stoley
In addition, at some point Kenny will find out about the charade, and break it off with the boys. He’ll form his own group, which consists of him, Butters, Nate and Francis (two minor characters that will finally get spotlight).
Cartman’s group will last the longest, and he and his new bros will really hit it off with each other, enjoying an amusement park and even having the time of their lives at the revamped Casa Bonita. Kyle’s group will see Kevin Stoley being the odd one out, as his sci-fi obsession irritates the group. In turn, Kyle and Token pick on Stoley for his obsession. Despite this, they have good times too, enjoying a fun VIP trip to the Denver Aquarium hosted by Token’s parents.
Stan’s group sees Bradley return from Planet Kokujon to resume life as a civilian. Bradley’s liked by all three other group members. Scott and Craig on the other hand, bring issues to the gang, with Scott being a complete bore and Craig bringing negativity with his increasing cynicism. Because of this, Stan and Craig tend to bicker at each other every 15 minutes.
The boys’ feud, though, will NOT be resolved by the end of the movie, and it gets carried on to the next.

Tweek and Craig as antelopes. Tweek is a kudu and Craig is an oryx. I was going through some old art when I found this. Inspired by the episode Put it Down.

These r probably my favourite characters, but I haven't watched that much of the show yet
My artstyle is probably a bit unusual lol please don't bully me :')
…and Tweek.
I drew Craig a wildebeest, Tweek an okapi, Token an ostrich, Clyde a serval, and Jimmy a flamingo.
Out of the following, how would you rank them from toughest to wimpiest in a fight?
Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, Clyde, Craig, Jimmy, Timmy, Token, Tweek, Scott

For me it was "Pandemic", season 12 episode 10. The part 2 was good too. I liked how Craig got more character and development, and the whole Peru storyline was enjoyable.
Shipping is something every fandom has in common. It is where you pair up two characters that aren't canonically in a relationship, and you put them in a "fanon" pairing. There is a lot of this in basically every community, like My Hero Academia and Bakudeku, Hazbin Hotel With Radiodust, Criminal Minds with Moreid, and so much more. If you are in a fandom, there is down-to-be shipping involved.
Now, what does this have to do with South Park? Well, South Park has its a fandom. Which, there is shipping in it. Let's talk about Shipping Culture in South Park!
Note, this is not my opinion on certain ships. Please don't go commenting what your favorite ship is. I have already gotten permission to post this, and this is mainly an essay on the culture of shipping and not what ships I think are good or bad.
What is Shipping Culture?
Shipping Culture is when the community of a certain subject pair two characters into a either romantic or sexual relationship. This can either happen in the way of cosplay, fanart, fanfiction, or more. It is most common in TV shows, Anime, or books.
What is the Shipping Culture of South Park?
South Park's shipping culture is like most fandoms. Though there is a lot of arguments that "The characters are kids and you are sexualizing them". Yes, people do tend to do that, but it really isn't that common.
South Park shipping is most common in fanfiction. There is mostly fanart of "canon" ships, and some "fanon" ships. One of the most popular or well-known pairing is "Creek" (Or, Tweek x Craig). The pairing probably started after the airing of the episode "Tweek VS. Craig"
After the ship became so popular, Matt and Trey then asked the community to draw fanart for the episode that aired in 2015, Tweek x Craig. The fanart would then be seen in the game "South Park: The Fractured But Whole". There was even a whole arc where the player had to help Craig & Tweek fix their bond.
What is Fanon?
Fanon means "A canon made up by fans". Examples could be Tyde (Token x Clyde), Style (Stan x Kyle), Kyman, (Kyle x Cartman), and Dip (Pip x Damien).
Some of these pairings can cause a lot of debates, the most 'controversial' being Kyman. This certain one because of people saying it's abusive, and Kyle & Eric's history together.
Probably the most popular fanon ship would be Style. Stan and Kyle have been best friends for the longest time throughout the history of the show. There was even an episode where Stan got drunk and told Kyle he "Loved him".
Style is popular all around the world, there are artists of it in Japan, South America, South Korea, Spain, Mexico, and more
What are some good things about shipping?
One good thing about shipping is that it can bring a group of people together to make art, fanfiction, and merch. It can also create friend groups and their own community for certain pairing. I know there are a lot of fan artists and artist groups for a lot of different ships in the South Park community.
What are some bad things about shipping?
The bad thing about shipping is that it can cause something called a "Ship war", which is basically people battling over which ship is better. It can also cause fights between groups saying either the other party's ship is abusive, or other things.
Another god-awful thing is "Child slash Adult" pairings, which is what you think it is. Every fandom has it. It's a huge age gap between two characters' relationships, and sometimes inc#st ships can pop up too.
Conclusion
As this essay comes to a close, I hope you learned some things.
Every fandom has a shipping community
What shipping culture is
The difference between Fanon and Canon
There's always going to be a bad side to shipping
Now, it is time for me, to ask you, the reader. What do you think? Do you like my points? Is there something you think I should have added? Let me know! I'd love to discuss this! Thank you for reading, Fuzzy is out!
,,, hey ,,,,
This seems like a chill community so i decided I’d give it a go
My favourite characters are kenny and craig
Thats abt it
Carol McCormick is the best of the parent characters. i take no criticism
Does anyone have any tinfoil hat theories about parentage in this show?
Now i know in the real world, genetics isn't always this straight forward, but in fiction we generally expect kids to look somewhat similar to their parents. in "the list" we learn that kyle looks like his father but has his mother's nose, and of course he has sheila's hair color as well. stan and randy have matching hair, as does sharon and shelly, liane and eric, linda and butters, and so on.
What's interesting is when this isn't the case. some notable examples are:
Tweek
Kenny
Bradley
Henrietta
Heidi
Craig
with blonde haired kids, sometimes their hair is lighter when their young, and darkens a bit when their an adult. that might be what's happening with tweek and kenny, though it's interesting that kenny's siblings do just have their dad's hair color.
with the biggle family we know that bradley isn't their biological kid, and it's probably safe to assume that henrietta dyes her hair.
heidi's hair doesn't match her current parents, but she originally had different ones in season 4, and her hair matches her father's who died in "probably". I think it's reasonable to assume the parents she's had since then have been her adoptive parents.
That leaves us with craig who has black hair despite his parents having orange and blonde hair. My best guess is that craig is adopted, perhaps from peru. what are you guys' theories for craig or for any of the other characters?
