Do you know all the meta around the subject, what happened with Isaac Hayes?

We shouldn't be mad at Isaac Hayes that he left,we should be mad at that fruity Scientology for scrambling his brain,he died 'cause of Scientology!

The worst part to me about cheff's death is that he doesn't die while escaping, he dies while going back to the fruity little club. they could of given him an honorable death for his character, or they could of had him turn evil and leave the show without dying and we could at least hold on to some hope that he might return with a new voice actor and be cured. but instead they give us this.

It's definitely a middle finger to the audience type of episode.

I viewed it as a middle finger to Hayes and Scientology, not to the audience, as if to say in their eyes that Chef was no longer the character they wanted him to be, the damage irreversible. They quite literally burn a bridge before he dies so greusomely.

I'm not sure they were aware Hayes was being manipulated irl until later. Remember "he" only quit a couple weeks before the episode aired, via public press release, calling them bigots. His brains probably seemed quite scrambled.

It may be that they did not know about the Scientologists making him leave until later, since I have read that many were not aware of it for some time. I would rather the character have died in a heroic way, which would be a great way to send off an excellent character

I was very sad that Chef got killed off. It's the Scientologists fault! 😭

Chef was one of the most sane and reasonable adults in this series
