I for one find a huge quality gap between those two; i don't think any of the multi-parters in the show have come close to bigger longer & uncut, and i wouldn't even put imagination land as the best of those multi-parters.

I'm optimistic that the new movies will be be better than the multi-parters, but unless maybe if they do another musical, the standard of the first film is too high.

I think they will be at least that good, likely better.

I think yes. We will most likely see movies about other characters. Example Bradley bringing his family to his own planet.
