It should be used exactly for what it has been as of recently- for entertainment purposes only and to promote healthy discussions over South Park related content in a civil and respectful manner. I personally wouldn’t recommend people discussing romantic ships or posting fan fictions on here however, judging by the maturity level of some of the users on here and the way certain people have reacted to them in the past. There are technically other wikis that are specifically dedicated to the discussion of this kind of content, although most users chose not to post on them. Plus, shipping and fanfic related discussions can get out hand and be a bit annoying at times, so I’d rather we avoid them.

There's no real reason for discussions to exist. We have a discord server and that is fine.

@FineryAndMadness Fan works are already against the rules here. Would you describe most of this as healthy and respectful discussion though? There have been complaints about shipping and fanfiction, which the staff are deleting left and right, but we also have complaints about things that are not against the rules - such as threads discussing certain characters, suggestions about what topics the show should pursue, certain polls, and users posting text walls, the belief certain opinions or questions represent obsessive and unhealthy tendencies, etc.

I'm trying to foster some conversation about how we should be defining those lines.

@John-117sp Discussions nonetheless exists, and we should determine what it is worth using for. I don't think FANDOM wants us to delete every topic posted here.
