Because thankfully people have free will, even though it is super weird to simp for a fictional 8 year old (or whatever her canon age, max of like 10). Even being a fan of her kinda is.

I am pretty sure the fact it pisses the moderators off creates a cycle in which more users post it because they both feel like they are balancing the opposite perspective.

I used to be a Wendy fan but we all make mistakes, now Randy is my favorite.

Yes, I used to be a big Wendy fan for many, many years. She was probably my second favorite character. I used her and Stan in fanfiction too. I viewed her and Kyle as the vital voices of reason thst offset the wacky.

A couple years ago it became obvious to me she wasn't serving much function in the show anymore. Her last big appearance was "The Hobbit", a really unpopular episode where she is clearly the villain. That's her only meaningful appearance in a decade. Trey doesn't like writing women nor is he good at it, he gives them all similar personalities.

She has about as much relevance as Kevin Stoley, Pip, or Dr. Mephesto -- and I used to like them too, but I realized being a fan of minor characters was dumb and that I looked like an idiot, so I focus on Randy now instead.

@JohnVMaster actually I think she really shone in The Hobbit. I agreed with her 💯 to fight against the pressure for women to look a certain way. I would've stood my ground like her if I were in her shoes. So sad that she ultimately lost the fight.
