It’s not like i dislike Wendy as a character, i just hate her personality and how the creators make her act like a bitch sometimes, also, she was initially created to be Stan’s empty love interest with no interesting personality and only as of recently, she’s getting more character development, but there are times Trey and Matt just ignore that and write her as a snooty hypocrite with a self-entitled attitude.

@BlackGiro I like reading through your posts and seeing your perspective on things too! I think Wendy had the potential to be a good female character, but was just poorly written and developed by the people who created her. I think if there had been more consistently in Wendy’s behavior and personality traits throughout the series, she could have been much more likable and relatable to fans.

I wish Wendy could get the proper treatment And I Wish She and Stan get interact and hang out more often like in the chocolate salty balls episode and I know Butters is a major character but can Matt and Trey Bring Wendy back being a Major Character i miss her being A Major Character

@Peregrina You made a wonderful post. It’s a very good article. I can respect your opinion. I just wish Bebe, Red, Lola, Annie, Jenny, Nichole, Tammy, Millie and Sophie Grey would be major focus character and more prominent rather than being background characters. Give them more to shine. I also wish Trey and Matt would give us our wishes and have Wendy being the major character again like the original 3 seasons. And have her interact with Stan

I agree 100%, I'm not too fond of the female characters in the show either. For reasons similar to the points you guys brought up, I just don't like the girls because they all seem one-dimensional and share seemingly the same personality traits, rather than having their own unique character. I also don't like how two-faced and unloyal they are to each other. Like I mean, they can pretend to be your friend right in front of you and then when you walk away they gossip and insult you behind your back, and they also forgive too quickly. This trait is also displayed by the women as well, as seen in "Turd Burglars". As someone whose had friendship and trust issues due to paranoia about being talked about behind my back or the simple thought of friends not being sincere to me, I have a very strong distaste for two-faced people, whether they're in fiction or reality.

I'm not saying I dislike all the female characters, like for example I think Heidi and Nichole are greatly written characters, although Nichole hasn't gotten much screentime. Annie Knitts also seems like a good character, and the way I see it, she could be like a female Butters, of course not a completely mirrored version of him though. I also find it weird that some characters have been on the show since the beginning and never really got the opportunity to say or do anything. And one other thing I don't understand, it seems like all the girls (at least in the boys' classroom) are popular, but for reasons unknown. What did they do that made them popular, are they attractive, are they athletic, or are they rich? And I'm pretty sure they weren't always like this, in fact, in my opinion, I think they jacked up some of the girls' characters while making them popular. One example is Bebe, she was kind of cute in earlier seasons, and now she's a stereotypical popular blonde girl. And while I do find her enjoyable, I do have somewhat mixed feelings about Wendy, because as people have said before me, her characterization is pretty inconsistent, but South Park is fluctuating with a lot of its topics, not just the personality traits of its characters. And for Red, she doesn't really have much an established personality. Although from the times where she is characterized, she seems just like all the other girls, sharing the same interests and attitudes.

I don't know, I'm open to the idea of having an episode centered around the girls, and hopefully develop them more as characters and make them their own person. I'd rather have an episodes focused on the girls rather than the women though, because like I've mentioned in previous discussions, the adults have become WAY too prominent. And plus they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, and while they do seem more level-headed than the men, they are still not too bright.
