I really don't know. Butters is so far gone from his old personality, he's just kind of morphed into another generic jerky kid. The only thing that sets him apart these days is that he serves as Cartman's lackey and is maybe a little more naïve than the other boys. I guess I wouldn't be thrilled to see him go, but I don't think I'd be all that torn up about it, either.
