I actually watched "You're Getting Old" (for a second time) last night. Tonight I will watch "Ass Burgers" for a second time. I'm not sure about that ending. It might be a "disposable" twist (meaning that it could've been there for shock value but isn't referenced later) but it could very well be happening off-screen. I doubt it though, we saw how badly Stan's drinking affected his actions when he talks with Kyle (while drunk) so he'd probably be pretty messed up if he continued.

Love-hate I guess. It was depressing and really gripping. I would say it was pretty good.

I do not know. alcoholism appears to be a problem among the males in Stan's family. both his father and uncle have a drinking problem.

I don't think so, because when he was drunk he was "happy" with Kyle, and it's not like he's like that anymore. I sometimes have a hard time watching the duology, because Stan is a lot like me. Some days I feel like everything is literal shit. I do love these episodes though, and I always feel like crying during the montage at the end of "You're Getting Old".
